The guitar amp sim plugin works like a charm in Cubase.ĭoes anybody have a clue? I just spend a huge amount of money on Toontrack products I kinda hoped would work :-).

I then installed a guitar amp sim plugin and selected the Cubase vst folder in which the dll-file should be placed. I just thought that nothing could go wrong when selecting installation as Toontrack and Cubase suggests. I mean….a brand new pc (bought yesterday) and Cubase installed where Cubase as standard is getting installed.

I guess I sort of hoped (or expected rather) that the Toontrack products found the correct place to install so it would work right away. I ran the installation of both Cubase and the Toontrack products like the installation suggests when accepting the installation. Am I missing something? I looked for dll-files as well but none were found. Superior 2 and the expansions just don’t show up as vst in Cubase. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the Cubase. But when I choose the Yamaha Steinberg USB ASIO Driver in Device Setup on Cubase, it keeps saying Device Could Not Be Opened. I could not find any info on the expansions. My computer seems to recognize it, as my Device Manager shows Steinberg UR44, and the light on the interface isnt flashing, so its definitely connected. I run Windows 10 (64bit), Cubase 8,5 (64bit) and the Superior 2 is 64bit. The problem is that it is nowhere to be found in Cubase. In this version, you can have a maximum of 32 audio tracks and up to 48 MIDI tracks. Installed, updated, authorized and ready to go. What is Cubase AI Cubase Advanced Integration, or simply known as Cubase AI, is one of the entry-level offerings of the Steinberg’s flagship music production software which provides all the basic tools for recording, editing and mixing for all genres. I downloaded the Product Manager and everything seemed to work perfectly. Some of it was as downloads and some of it was not. I then bought Superior 2, The Metal Foundry SDX and a bunch of EDX expansions. I just bought a brand new and fast pc with only Cubase 8.5 and the soundcard driver for my Focusrite Saffire 14 Pro installed.
